The September workshop will be conducted over a two day period on 22 and 23 September 2018, by Cheryl Earl.
Cheryl Earl has shown us how to make a small and a medium size leather box using Kangaroo and Foil Leather. These classes were fun and exciting to participate in knowing that at the end of the two days you went home with a beautifully made item.
This time we will be making a Memories Album completely made from scratch. There will not be a bought album and you just cover it. You will be making it the same as the boxes using UMS cardboard and covering it with leather and decorative paper. Cheryl brings in different colours of leather that you will be able to choose from to put on the spine of the album.
As can be seen from the above picture, you will go home with a fantastic album to put your memories of past and current events in it.

| Cutting Mat (A3 or larger) Steel Ruler (30 to 60 cms) Tape Measure Cutting Blade (sturdy craft knife) Extra Blades (snap off) HB Pencil Sharp – sharpener or Technical Pencil Eraser Glass for skiving Skiver for soft leather Scalpel and Extra Blades Small Sharp Scissors Bone Folder Long Nose Tweezers (if you have them, could be helpful) Sanding Block Sand Paper (coarse and fine) Anything you have to achieve a 90 degree angle when gluing sides of the box together P.V.A. glue 2 Brushes Bristle – large and small Water Jar for cleaning brushes Apron (optional) Rag or Baby Wipes for Sticky Fingers Notepad and Pen Hole Punch 2mm Hammer or Mallet Rubber Bands Dog Clips. |
